KidsLife Director POSITION

OneLife Community Church is an innovative growing church in NE Seattle with twice the national average of children to adults.  Our KidsLife program is one of our strongest ministries & we are currently looking for a new person to bring  his/her passion for children & families to the next level.  We have a team oriented, outward focused, & collaborative staff as well as a very healthy volunteer leadership base to build from.      

Position Definition: The KidsLife Director is responsible for overseeing, managing, & coordinating the KidsLife ministry at OneLife Community Church for children aged birth through 5th grade.


Compensation:  $20,000 - $30,000 - Dependent On Experience

Hours:  20 hours per week

Benefits:  2 weeks vacation, & sick leave as needed  |  No medical 

General Duties:

*  Plan & coordinate all children’s programs, infants to 5th grade

*  Develop age appropriate curriculum for all Sunday classes

*  Recruit, schedule, & train all KidsLife volunteers

*  Create & implement special events & missions projects for kids

*  Recruit & oversee childcare &/or children’s activities at all church events & meetings

*  Develop service projects throughout the year & leading up to Christmas & Easter

*  Establish KidsLife core groups throughout the year

*  Be the main face of KidsLife during our Sunday services

*  Create a resource &/or trainings for parents


*  Attend weekly staff meetings, planning times, church retreats, & denominational meetings including regional gatherings & annual conference

*  Involved in a core [either leading, hosting, or simply participating]

*  Present in one of the Sunday services

*  Engaging in the day to day life of the community the church is in [Wedgwood/Bryant]
